Lanka Kade was recognised as a fair trade supplier by BAFTS. Many of Lanka Kade products are rubber wood sourced from exhausted rubber plantations that are replanted every 10-15 years. Children are not involved at any stage of the production. All products are handmade by seven family based enterprises in Sri Lanka.
