Since 1997 Arbor Vetum has been designing, manufacturing and supplying high quality furniture products for use in the Garden, Conservatory and Leisure markets. Our company was founded on, and abides by, strong philosophical principles and this is reflected in the unique environmental and ethical nature of all of our products.

Our reclaimed teak comes in all manner of shapes and sizes, from tiny fittings to massive ancient timbers. Carefully recovered by hand from old and neglected building, each and every piece of this wonderful wood has a special history and story to tell. Even today, almost a century later, these beautiful mellow timbers are still bursting with the rich oil which makes teak so strong, stable and perfect for garden furniture making. As every single Arbor Vetum product is only ever made from 100% carefully salvaged reclaimed teak timbers we have successfully eliminated the need to cut down precious living teak trees to make our furniture.

Environmental Credentials

Arbor Vetum was the first company in the world to be awarded the FSC recycled label for wooden products. This guarantees that all of our products are genuinely made exclusively from 100% post-consumer reclaimed and recycled wood, in strict accordance with the FSC's global standards.

Arbor Vetum was also the first company in Europe to be awarded 'Rediscovered Wood Certification' by Smartwood. This certification ensures that not only does our wood conform to the highest environmental standards but that it has also been sourced in a socially responsible and historically sensitive manner.
