The Devon Meat Company only sells meat from our own members’ Devon farms, assuring top quality and ultimate traceability. We have our own excellent butcher who is renowned for his well-hung meat, which has won three Gold Taste of the West Awards – 2004 /5.

Our excellent beef is from pure bred Aberdeen Angus and South Devon cattle. Our lamb, hogget and mutton come from traditional flocks and from rare-breed sheep – the latter being Manx Loghtan and Hebridean, rated by many gourmets as the most delicious available. We also produce mouth watering rare-breed pork, Christmas turkeys, home-made pies and venison.

The farms have won a variety of conservation awards, including the prestigious FWAG Bronze Otter Award. Most of the animals are reared organically; all are reared to high standards of welfare. You are welcome to see for yourself by arrangement.

We deliver directly to the general public and restaurants both locally and across Britain by courier.
