Short Course: Rammed Earth Building - 2 Days
Runs from 4th August 2010 until 5th August 2010
Learn to build using what mother nature provides, within my own Rammed Earth Eco-Shed on The Norfolk Broads!
This fun and friendly course will be held over two days and will cover all the essential areas of building with rammed earth. We will cover many topics together and you will take away the confidence to go forward and complete a project of your own.

Residential eco-holiday: Sunship Earth
Runs from 16th August 2010 until 20th August 2010
A five day residential eco-holiday for anyone who is:
* currently in years 4, 5 or 6 at school
* enjoys spending time in the great outdoors
* wants to know more about life on Planet Earth
* would like to have some 'seriously' good fun
Location: Shortenills Centre, Chalfont St Giles, HP8 4SG
Cost: £220 (Funds are available through the 'Go For It' scheme which is designed to support children who would otherwise miss out on this opportunity)

The Environmental Fair
To be held on 30th August 2010
An event for all the family. Over 100 stalls with environmental activity and information, craft and fair trade products. There are three stages offering a range of entertainment showcasing local talent, from young rock bands to folk, jazz and various performing arts. A range of delicious catering stalls. Lots of fun for the kids from cycling challenges to face painting. Healing area with taster therapies offered.

Eco Chic Wedding and Home Show
To be held on 19th September 2010
The Eco Chic Wedding and Home Show is a chance for eco-conscious couples to meet exhibitors across the ethical wedding and home spectrum, from green gift lists to recycled stationery, fair trade favours to seasonal flowers.

Big Green Home Show

Green Awards 2010
To be held on 25th November 2010
This year the 5th Green Awards for Excellence in Communicating Sustainability goes global. These unique Awards, accredited by the Royal Society of Arts, recognise creativity internationally that communicates the importance of corporate and social responsibility, sustainable development and ethical best practice in any sector.
The Awards illustrate the crucial role that needs to be played by green marketing and sustainability communications in informing people about green issues, products and lifestyle choices, and aim to showcase examples of excellence and best practice. According to the International Panel on Climate Change, we are just 80 months from CO2 levels pushing us into irreversible climate change.

Shortlist announcement: Early October
Awards ceremony: 25th November 2010 in London
