Short Course: Rammed Earth Building - 2 Days

Green Awards 2010
To be held on 25th November 2010
This year the 5th Green Awards for Excellence in Communicating Sustainability goes global. These unique Awards, accredited by the Royal Society of Arts, recognise creativity internationally that communicates the importance of corporate and social responsibility, sustainable development and ethical best practice in any sector.
The Awards illustrate the crucial role that needs to be played by green marketing and sustainability communications in informing people about green issues, products and lifestyle choices, and aim to showcase examples of excellence and best practice. According to the International Panel on Climate Change, we are just 80 months from CO2 levels pushing us into irreversible climate change.

Awards ceremony: 25th November 2010 in London

Course: Permaculture Design
To be held on 8th January 2011
Permaculture is an ecological design system that can be applied anywhere from an urban flat to a farm.
One weekend per month for six months this course offers a mix of theory and practice covering edible landscaping, waste treatment, renewable energy, water, buildings, community and more. The course is led by experienced tutors and includes site visits and design exercises.
